Today, EnergyX consists of 5 people and has a very varied workday. The department works on developing everything from medical equipment to well equipment related to both the oil and gas industry, aquaculture and aviation. If you enjoy handling several different projects at the same time, this is a good place to be.

Work assignments
- Responsibility for development and design of products using the 3D CAD program Autodesk Inventor
- Perform calculations and FEM analyses
- Participate in technical meetings with our customers
- Contact with suppliers when needed
- Participate and assist in connection with product testing
- Preparation of procedures and other documentation
- Technical support for the company's other departments
- Comply with and contribute to the development of the company's HSE system
Qualifications
qualifications
- Competence and experience from mechanical design, preferably from drilling/well or subsea/ROV operations, but other disciplines are also of interest.
- Higher education (Bachelor or Master) within mechanical engineering/design and calculation. Relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education.
- Good technical understanding and interest
- Knowledge of production methods and technologies
- Expertise in Autodesk Inventor or similar systems
- Practical experience is positive

EnergyX is experiencing good demand for our services and we need more CNC operators to join the team. Our modern machining workshop consists exclusively of newer Okuma and Mazak CNC machines.
Work tasks:
- Production of components, both single parts and series, preferably using Okuma 5-axis lathe (other machines may be applicable).
- Programming using dialog and CAM software (we use GibbsCam)
- Installation and commissioning of new parts
- Control and measurement of manufactured parts
- Daily maintenance of own machine
- Comply with the company's HSE and quality system and contribute to a good working environment
Qualifications:
- Vocational certificate as CNC operator (long experience can compensate for lack of vocational certificate)
- Experience of operating Okuma CNC machines is an advantage
- Experience or knowledge of GibbsCam software is an advantage
- Good technical understanding

- Fluent in Norwegian, both written and spoken
We can offer a good working environment and challenging tasks with competitive conditions. The right candidate must be tidy, accurate and want to work in a fast-paced environment where changes happen quickly. Shift work must be expected (we currently run two shifts).
We mainly produce smaller series and individual parts, so programming and commissioning of new parts will be a significant part of the work.
