EnergyX is committed to conducting responsible business and respecting fundamental human rights and decent working conditions.
In accordance with the Norwegian Transparency Act, EnergyX carries out due diligence assessments to identify, prevent, mitigate, and account for actual and potential adverse impacts on human rights and decent working conditions throughout its operations and value chain. This work is integrated into the company’s environmental and sustainability efforts, where Sustainable Development Goal 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth – has been adopted as one of the company’s key objectives. These commitments are further reflected in the company’s policies, including its HSE and quality policies.
The company’s guidelines and procedures are communicated to employees through internal channels such as the intranet, staff meetings, and training activities. They are also made available to business partners, suppliers, and the public through the company’s website and other communication channels.
EnergyX assesses its operations, organizational structure, products and services, markets, and supply chain, as well as its policies, procedures, and processes related to human rights and decent working conditions. Based on these assessments, the company addresses identified risks and findings, evaluates potential and actual adverse impacts, and implements appropriate measures to prevent or mitigate such impacts.
In accordance with the Transparency Act, EnergyX responds to and follows up on requests for information regarding how the company works with responsible business conduct, including the handling of complaints and whistleblowing, and how adverse impacts are identified and addressed.
